Smog Monster |
The Smog Monster was formed in the inner city of Los Angeles in 2000 by Shiro Fujioka, Gale Raziya, Sum 7 and Sable Raven Jr.
This group of artist grew up in "the hood" in the 80's when the crack and gang epidemic were at an all time high. The crew grew up listening to metal, hip hop, jazz, blues and punk rock.
The name represents LA's air quality and the morally, culturally and spiritually polluted environment they come from. |
